As we look back on RareMed’s incredible successes during 2025, we’re filled with immense pride and gratitude. The past year has been a testament to our team’s dedication, the trust of our partners, and our unwavering commitment to enhancing patient care access. All of this has led to record-breaking achievements in the worlds of patient care, culture, and technological innovation.

2025 has truly been a milestone year for RareMed, marked by significant growth and innovation. This year’s achievements have not only reinforced our position as a leader in the healthcare industry but also highlighted our commitment to excellence in patient care and employee satisfaction.
RareMed received recognition for leading the region in revenue growth, marked by our title as the #1 Fastest Growing Company in Pittsburgh according to Pittsburgh Business Times’ Fast 50 program. This year’s recognition represents RareMed’s fourth consecutive appearance on the Fast 50 list, our fourth year as the fastest-growing healthcare company in the region, and our highest-ever ranking on the list. Our ability to scale operations while maintaining our high standards was evident as we initiated relationships with multiple new partners, broadening our reach to serve more patients with complex conditions. These partnerships are crucial in enhancing our capabilities and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective therapies, expanding our network and reinforcing our commitment to delivering unmatched patient access.
Our culture of care, a hallmark of our reputation, has been recognized widely, and brought RareMed a number of accolades in culturally centered employee surveys:
- Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Top Work Places (6th year running)
- Top 5 in the Pittsburgh Business Times’ Best Places to Work (6th year as finalist)
- USA Today’s Top Workplaces (2nd time qualifier)
- Newsweek’s Most Loved Work Places (2nd time qualifier), with additional recognition as a top workplace for Diversity, Inclusivity, Women, Volunteering, Wellness, LGBTQ+ and more!
Our dedication to patient care has been consistently recognized with the achievement of Net Promoter Scores (NPS) exceeding 90 points each quarter on MMIT surveys. Our team even achieved a remarkable, record-setting 100pt Net Promoter Score in Q1. This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to creating a supportive and fulfilling experience for our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support, and reflects our dedication to creating a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
RareMed’s dedication to care extended to our community. In 2025, RareMed expanded its Volunteer Time Off (VTO) opportunities to 15 different initiatives and 5 different donation drives. Together we fed, clothed and supported animals and families in our Western PA, Ohio and West Virginia areas, allowing our team to make meaningful impacts within our communities. From local charities like The Mission Co. to larger initiatives like the Walk for Children’s Hospital, our team has shown an unwavering commitment to service, reflecting the values that drive us to create positive change. In our efforts to engage and educate our community, we held a Fall Festival that featured interactive booths bringing attention to the disease states of each of our therapies. This event provided an opportunity for our employees, their families and our associates to gain a deeper understanding of the conditions we treat and the innovative therapies we offer.
In fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, we launched our Leadership Library. This resource is designed to equip our team members with access to a wealth of knowledge, empowering them to grow as leaders and contribute to the advancement of our organization. We also graduated yet another cohort through the Rare Future Leaders program, equipping rising leaders with the tools to lead effectively, and ensuring RareMed’s future is full of experienced and empathetic leaders. The introduction of new initiatives like the Culture Ambassador Passport and Employee Spotlight programs has further enriched our workplace culture, celebrating individual contributions and fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among our team members.
As we prepare to embark on the adventures of 2026, we carry forward the momentum of this year’s successes. Our focus remains on sustaining our growth, fostering a supportive workplace culture, and upholding the standards that define RareMed. With our team’s support, the trust of our partners, and the needs of our patients guiding us, we are poised to continue making a significant impact in the field of patient care.
Thank you for being an essential part of our journey. Together, we will continue to achieve great things and make a lasting difference.
