The crisp autumn air and vibrant hues of fallen leaves created the perfect backdrop for RareMed’s second annual Fall Festival. This much-anticipated event brought together nearly 200 employees, families, healthcare partners, and staff for an evening filled with education, entertainment, and camaraderie. The festival was a resounding success, underscored by a fantastic turnout and a rich array of activities that catered to attendees of all ages. From creative, informative booths about product disease states built by our program teams to delightful food, costume contests, engaging games, and enticing prizes, the festival offered something for everyone, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
Educational Booths: Bridging Knowledge and Care
Central to our 2025 Fall Festival were a series of creative, educational booths built and manned by volunteers from our program teams, each dedicated to a specific disease state. These booths served as a platform for sharing vital information about rare diseases and the innovative treatments available. Our knowledgeable team members were on hand to provide insights and answer questions, ensuring that attendees left with a deeper understanding of the conditions affecting their loved ones.
The booths featured interactive displays and presentations that made complex medical information accessible and engaging. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in treatment, the importance of early diagnosis, and the role of personalized care. By demystifying these conditions and highlighting available resources, we empowered patients and families to make informed decisions about their healthcare journeys. At the same time, children were able to visit the booths for “trick-or-treat” entertainment.

Children and adults alike enjoyed games such as Plinko and a “Phishing” Fishing Challenge! The laughter and cheers that filled the air were a testament to the joy these simple pleasures brought to participants.
In addition to the games, a dedicated area for arts and crafts allowed children to express their creativity, crafting autumn-themed decorations and take-home souvenirs. These activities not only entertained but also created lasting memories for families, reinforcing the importance of togetherness and play.

Embracing the festive atmosphere, attendees at our event eagerly engaged in a variety of contests and raffles, fueled by the anticipation of winning enticing prizes. The array of prizes on offer was diverse, ranging from lavish gift baskets brimming with themed goodies to exclusive RareMed swag and our unique internal currency, “RareCoin,” designed specifically for our employees. The pinnacle of excitement was undoubtedly the booth competition, where triumphant employees were ecstatic to receive coveted PTO days, rendering the event an unforgettable and thoroughly engaging experience.
