RareMed Solutions is pleased to announce that our President, Dr. Douglas Gebhard, was awarded the Rising Star award by the University of Pittsburgh, continuing a tradition of excellence and thought leadership amongst the RareMed team.
RareMed leaders attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy’s RxTravaganza gala on November 2nd where Pitt Pharmacy alumni, faculty, and students connected to celebrate class reunions, and the announcement of the Distinguished Alumni and Rising Star awards. Attendees included former University of Pittsburgh Distinguished Alumni and RareMed team members Dr. Gordon Vanscoy and Dr. Timothy Davis.
This year, RareMed Solutions President, Dr. Douglas Gebhard, received the honorable Rising Star award for his incredible work leading the RareMed team. Dr. Gebhard, among others were recognized at the awards for their dedication and admirable work in the pharmaceutical field. Doug has been a critical driver of RareMed’s ability to lead the industry across a variety of domains, including technology, culture, patient services innovation, and patient satisfaction.
The Pitt team commented, “The School of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Pitt Pharmacy Alumni Society Board, is proud to recognize and honor the work and achievements of our Alumni. The recipients of these awards have brought recognition to the University and the School of Pharmacy through their contributions to society and the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Instituted in 2013, the Rising Stars Award recognizes those who are making great achievements while still early in their careers. These individuals have at least five years of career development past graduation and are making significant advancements in the field of pharmacy.”
