RareMed CEO to Keynote PharmaCon 2018

RareMed Chairman & CEO, Dr. Gordon J. Vanscoy, will be presenting the keynote speech on Rare Disorders, Orphan Drugs, and market trends in Specialty Pharmacy & HUBs at the upcoming APPA PharmaCon Expo from June 8th – 9th in Orlando, Florida.

PharmaCon Expo is a national convention hosting over 500 industry professionals and 70 different exhibitors representing a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, dietary supplement vendors, software providers, wholesalers, and service suppliers.  Created and organized by the American Pharmacy Purchasing Alliance (APPA), PharmaCon Expo was founded “[to] educate independent pharmacy owners about the ever-changing landscape of the pharmaceutical field.” The convention will feature over 20 hours of continuing education and is a “premier networking and product showcase opportunity.”

The APPA is comprised of pharmacy buyers, independent pharmacy owners, pharmacists,  pharmacy technicians, distributors, wholesalers, government purchasers, non-profit private purchasing companies, and other pharmacy professionals. The APPA’s goal is to promote the “advancement of the specialized industry of pharmaceutical purchasing” and “to keep members abreast of the latest developments and news in the pharmaceutical industry as well as offering educational opportunities for professional growth and empowerment.”
