RareMed is proud to announce the first recipients of the Certified Rare Award. The award, the brainchild of our team-based Values & Culture Committee, is a prestigious honor bestowed on employees who embrace RareMed’s culture and go above and beyond in their work and for their peers.
Though RareMed originally planned to grant the award to two team members each quarter, RareMed is proud to launch the award by awarding the honor to three deserving recipients.
The Quarter 4, 2022 Certified Rare Award recipients are Katie Dawson, Kevin Novick, and Chris Regula. The nominees were chosen out of a competitive field of 15 finalists.
Katie Dawson – Lead, Implementation. Katie has repeatedly gone above and beyond in her role to contribute to the team’s success in launching new programs and initiatives. Never seen without a smile, Katie has an unrelenting positive attitude and never hesitates to help anyone who needs assistance. Katie demonstrates many RareMed values, but continuously upholds the Supportive Ambition value by always stepping up to help others and ensuring that projects are running smoothly.
Kevin Novick – Sr. Patient Navigator. Whether working to provide personalized care to patients or supporting team members in departments across the company, Kevin strives to help people in any way he can, even when tasks fall outside of his immediate job responsibilities. Described by his peers as someone who loves his job and the company, he regularly goes beyond the call of duty for the company, his peers, and our patients. Kevin’s attitude embodies our Authentic Dedication value and his commitment to his work is evident in all that he does.
Chris Regula – Manager, Software Development. Arguably, no one has been more instrumental in the development of RareMed’s RarePath® software suite than Chris. As one of RareMed’s first technology team members, Chris has been unwavering in his leadership, creativity, and fastidiousness as he led the team responsible for launching RareMed’s flagship software. Chris clearly demonstrates RareMed’s Disruptive Innovation value, as he consistently thinks outside, ahead, and in front of the box when proposing solutions.
