Over the last five years, RareMed established a reputation in the rare disease market, grew immensely as an organization, and helped change thousands of lives by accelerating access to some of the world’s most critical therapies. RareMed has evolved to expand its focus to include other complex conditions, reaching another demographic of patients who often struggle to obtain quality care. The company’s unique focus enables RareMed to lead the field in innovation and service, while serving people who need it most.
Over the last five years, the RareMed team has earned an array of awards and recognitions. RareMed has continuously been featured as one of Pittsburgh’s fastest growing companies and was recently recognized as the Fastest Growing Healthcare Company in Pittsburgh Business Times’ Fast 50 competition (2022).
RareMed has also achieved prestigious awards for culture, and was recently recognized as the #1 Best Place to Work in Pittsburgh amongst large companies. Our culture is driven by the employee-led Values and Culture Committee, who have implemented a myriad of successful employee-focused initiatives.
Our service-focus and positive culture have paid dividends in the quality of care we deliver. RareMed achieved the #1 position for patient satisfaction in MMIT Patient Satisfaction Surveys twice over the past two years.
We’re also pleased to have seen team members grow with the company as we’ve expanded our team. The company has seen over 50 internal promotions in the last two years alone. Our team members continue to accomplish personal and professional goals with RareMed every day.
In honor of five successful years, dozens of RareMed team members came together on Tuesday, March 14th to celebrate the company’s 5th birthday with food and games. As part of our celebration, RareMed unveiled a new logo and brand image. With a refreshed, modern look featuring a hub and spoke radiating from a key, we highlight our connection to our stakeholders and our focus on promoting access to therapy for those we serve.
